1/2 Hizb 45

۞ (It will be said to the angels): "Assemble those who did wrong, together with their companions (from the devils) and what they used to worship. 22 Other than Allah, and guide them to the path of Hellfire 23 "But stop them, for they must be asked: 24 [They will be asked], "What is [wrong] with you? Why do you not help each other?" 25 Nay! on that Day they will be entirely submissive. 26 And some of them draw near unto others, mutually questioning. 27 (The followers will say to their leaders): “You used to come to us from the right hand.” 28 Others will respond, "It was you who did not want to have any faith. 29 And we had no authority over you, but you were an inordinate people; 30 So on us hath been justified the sentence of our Lord: verily we are to taste. 31 So we led you astray, for we ourselves were erring. 32 So they shall on that day be sharers in the chastisement one with another. 33 Surely thus do We deal with the guilty. 34 Truly, when it was said to them: La ilaha ill-Allah "(none has the right to be worshipped but Allah)," they puffed themselves up with pride (i.e. denied it). 35 and said: “Shall we forsake our deities for the sake of a distracted poet?” 36 "Surely, he has brought the truth, confirming those who were sent before; 37 Verily ye are going to taste a torment afflictive. 38 although you shall not be requited for aught but what you were wont to do. 39 Except the chosen creatures of God, 40 For them is the sustenance known to Us. 41 Fruits; and they will be honored 42 In Gardens of Felicity, 43 On couches facing one another; 44 a cup filled with wine from its springs, will be passed around to them; 45 White, delicious to the drinkers, 46 no headiness will be in it, and they will not get drunk thereon. 47 And with them maidens of modest look and large lustrous eyes, 48 As though they were eggs hidden. 49 So one among them turns to the other, questioning. 50 And a speaker from among them will say: verily there was unto me a mate. 51 Who used to say: Art thou in truth of those who put faith (in his words)? 52 After we are dead and have become all dust and bones shall we still be requited?' 53 Do you want to see him?' " 54 Then he looks, and sees him in the midst of Hell. 55 He says, 'By God, wellnigh thou didst destroy me; 56 But for my Lord's blessing, I were one of the arraigned. 57 "Is it (the case) that we shall not die, 58 "Except our first death, and we shall not be punished? (after we have entered Paradise)." 59 This is certainly the greatest triumph 60 For the like of this, then, let the workers work. 61 Is this better as an entertainment or the tree of Zaqqum? 62 which We have made as a test for the wrongdoers. 63 Verily it is a tree that springeth forth in the bottom of Flaming Fire. 64 its spathes are like the heads of satans 65 Then most surely they shall eat of it and fill (their) bellies with it. 66 Then on top of that they will be given a mixture made of boiling water. 67 Then indeed, their return will be to the Hellfire. 68 These are the ones who found their fathers steeped in error, 69 and [now] they make haste to follow in their footsteps! 70 And indeed before them, most of the former people went astray. 71 and We sent among them warners; 72 So behold what wise hath been the end of those who were warned. 73 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 74
