And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein 16 and the two recording angels are recording, sitting on the right and the left: 17 not a word he utters, but by him is an observer ready. 18 And the stupor of death will come in truth: this is that which thou hast been shunning. 19 The trumpet will be sounded. This is the Day [you were] warned of. 20 Each soul will come with a driver and a witness. 21 (And the driver will say:) "You were oblivious of this, so we have removed the veil, and how keen is your sight today!" 22 And his accompanying angel said, “This is the record of your deeds, available with me.” 23 (It will be said): 'Indeed, cast into Gehenna (Hell) every deviating unbeliever, 24 Preventer of good, aggressor, and doubter, 25 Who had set up another god with God. Cast him into severe torment." 26 ۞ His companion said: “I did not incite him to rebel; he was far gone into error of his own accord.” 27 Allah will say: wrangle not in My presence, and I had already proferred unto you the threat. 28 The word will not be changed with Me, and never will I be unjust to the servants." 29
