And when thy Lord called Moses, saying: Go unto the wrongdoing folk, 10 The people of Fir'aun (Pharaoh). Will they not fear Allah and become righteous?" 11 He said, “My Lord, I fear that they will deny me.” 12 “I feel hesitant, and my tongue does not speak fast, therefore make Haroon also a Noble Messenger.” 13 "And (further), they have a charge of crime against me; and I fear they may slay me." 14 Allah said: "Nay! Go you both with Our Signs. Verily! We shall be with you, listening. 15 Go to the Pharaoh and tell him: 'We bring a message from the Lord of all the worlds 16 Send forth with us the Children of Israel' 17 He (Pharaoh) said (to Moses): 'Did We not bring you up when you were a child? And have you not spent years of your life amongst us? 18 And you did (that) deed of yours which you did, and you are one of the ungrateful. 19 (Moses) replied: "I did do that and I was in the wrong, 20 So I fled from you when I feared you. Then my Lord granted me wisdom and prophethood and appointed me [as one] of the messengers. 21 “And is this some great reward for which you express favour upon me – that you have enslaved the Descendants of Israel?” 22 Firon said: And what is the Lord of the worlds? 23 Moses answered: "The Lord of the heavens and the earth and of all that is between them, if you were only to believe." 24 Said Firaun to those around him, “Are you not listening with attention?” 25 He said, 'Your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients.' 26 The Pharaoh said, "The Messenger who has been sent to you is certainly insane". 27 Moses said, "He is the Lord of the East and the West, and all that lies between them, if only you could understand." 28 [Pharaoh] said, "If you take a god other than me, I will surely place you among those imprisoned." 29 Moses asked, "What if I were to bring you clear proof (of the existence of God)?" 30 Said he: Bring it then, if you are of the truthful ones. 31 So (Moses) threw his rod, and behold, it was a serpent, plain (for all to see)! 32 Then he uncovered his hand and it was sheer white to the onlookers. 33

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
