Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Qaf. By the glorious Quran! 1 Nay, but they marvel that a warner has come to them from among them; and the unbelievers say, 'This is a marvellous thing! 2 that after we die and become dust, we shall be brought back to life again. This seems far from reality". 3 We know very well what the earth takes away from them: We hold a book which records all things. 4 In fact, they have rejected the truth that has come to them, thus, they live in confusion. 5 Do they not then look up to heaven above them how We have made it and adorned it and it has no gaps? 6 And the earth- We have spread it out, and set thereon mountains standing firm, and produced therein every kind of beautiful growth (in pairs)- 7 This is a reminder and it sharpens the insight of every servant of God who turns to Him in repentance. 8 And We sent down the auspicious water from the sky, therefore producing gardens with it, and the grain that is harvested. 9 and tall palmtrees with compact spathes 10 As sustenance for the bondmen; and with it We revived a dead city; this is how you will be raised. 11 The people of Noah denied before them, and the companions of the well and Thamud 12 and Aad, Pharaoh and the brothers of Lot, 13 And the Dwellers of the Woods, and the people of Tubb’a; each one of them denied the Noble Messengers, so My promised punishment proved true. 14 Were We then fatigued with the first creation? Yet are they in doubt with regard to a new creation. 15
