▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ No! I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 and this is indeed a mighty oath, if only you knew – 76 that this is indeed a noble Quran, 77 Kept in a secure Book. 78 which none but the pure [of heart] can touch: 79 It has been revealed by the Lord of all the worlds. 80 Do you then hold this announcement in contempt? 81 And make denial thereof your livelihood? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat of the dying 83 And you are at that time looking on - 84 and We are nearer to him than you, although you cannot see Us -- 85 if you are not subject to anyone's authority, 86 can you not cause that [ebbing life] to return - if what you claim is true? 87 Then if the dying one is of those having proximity, – 88 Then is relief, and flowers – and Gardens of peace. 89 And if he is of those on the right hand, 90 [he, too, will be welcomed into paradise with the words,] "Peace be unto thee [that art] of those who have attained to righteousness!" 91 But if he was of the deniers [who were] astray, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water 93 and the roasting in Hell. 94 Indeed, this is the certain truth. 95 So exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 96

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
