The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
When the sun shall be folded up, 1 when the stars shall scatter away, 2 And when the mountains shall made to pass away; 3 And when full-term she-camels are neglected 4 And when wild animals are herded together. 5 when the seas shall be set boiling, 6 souls are reunited with their bodies, 7 when the buried infant shall be asked 8 For what sin she was killed, 9 And when the books are spread, 10 when heaven shall be stripped off; 11 When Hell is set ablaze, 12 And when Paradise is brought near. 13 Every soul will then come know what it has brought. 14 Rather, I swear by the returning 15 the planets that run their course and set, 16 And the close of night, 17 by the dawn sighing, 18 That this is in truth the word of an honoured messenger, 19 who is honored in the presence of the Lord of the Throne, 20 Obeyed one; then trustworthy. 21 Your companion is not one possessed: 22 in truth he saw him (Gabriel) on the clear horizon, 23 Neither doth he withhold grudgingly a knowledge of the Unseen. 24 And it (the Quran) is not the word of the outcast Shaitan (Satan). 25 Where to are you then heading? 26 This is naught else than a reminder unto creation, 27 For those of you who desire to walk the path that is straight, 28 And what will you wish, except if Allah wills the Lord of the Creation. 29
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
