Do you not see that We have appointed devils to incite those who deny the truth to disobedience? 83 Therefore, do not hasten (in seeking a scourge against them). We are counting their days. 84 The Day We shall gather the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) unto the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegate (presented before a king for honour). 85 and We shall drive the guilty ones to Hell as a thirsty herd. 86 They shall not control intercession, save he who has made a covenant with the Beneficent Allah. 87 And they say, "The Most Merciful has taken [for Himself] a son." 88 Assuredly, you have uttered a monstrous falsehood: 89 Thereby the heavens are nearly torn and the earth split asunder, and mountains fall crashing down 90 to ascribe a son to the Beneficent God. 91 And it does not befit the Most Gracious to choose an offspring! 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but will come to the Beneficent Allah as a servant. 93 He has indeed counted them, and He has numbered them exactly. 94 And everyone of them will come to Him singly on the Day of Judgment. 95 Surely Ar-Rahman will show love for those who believe and do the right. 96 And We make (this Scripture) easy in thy tongue, (O Muhammad) only that thou mayst bear good tidings therewith unto those who ward off (evil), and warn therewith the froward folk. 97 And how many a generation before them have We destroyed! Canst thou (Muhammad) see a single man of them, or hear from them the slightest sound? 98
