۞ So I call the placement of the stars to witness -- 75 And that is indeed a tremendous oath, if you understand. 76 Behold, it is a truly noble discourse, 77 In a book that is protected 78 Which (that Book with Allah) none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 Then why do you dissimulate this Revelation? 81 Do you make its denial your means of livelihood? 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 And you at that time look on-- 84 But We are nearer to him than ye, and yet see not,- 85 why, then, if [you think that] you are not truly dependent [on Us,] 86 can you not cause that [ebbing life] to return - if what you claim is true? 87 (If a dying soul) is of those near to God, 88 Then [for him is] rest and bounty and a garden of pleasure. 89 And if he (the dying person) be of those on the Right Hand, 90 he will be welcomed by the words: “Peace to you” from the People on the Right. 91 And if he is one of the rejecters, the erring ones, 92 Then his reception is the hot boiling water. 93 and a roasting in Hell. 94 Indeed, this is the true certainty, 95 Therefore glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 96
