The people of Lot rejected the Messengers, branding them liars. 160 When their brother Lot said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? 161 Surely I am a faithful apostle to you; 162 so fear God and obey me. 163 I ask of you no recompense for this; my reward is only with the Lord of the Universe. 164 “What! Among all the creatures, you commit the immoral acts with men?” 165 And leave ye your spouses your Lord hath created for you? Aye! ye are a people trespassing. 166 They said: "If thou desist not, O Lut! thou wilt assuredly be cast out!" 167 (Lot) said: "I am disgusted with your actions," 168 "My Lord! Save me and my family from what they do." 169 So We delivered him and his family,- all 170 Except one old woman who remained behind. 171 Then We destroyed the rest of them, 172 and We rained on them a rain; and evil is the rain of them that are warned. 173 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 174 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Most Compassionate. 175
