Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ When the sky breaks apart 1 when the planets are scattered, 2 the oceans are merged together, 3 when the tombs are overthrown, 4 Every soul will come to know what it has sent ahead and what it left behind. 5 O human! What has deceived you concerning your Generous Lord 6 Who created you, then made you complete, then made you symmetrical? 7 in whatever form He pleased? 8 Rather, you belied the Recompense. 9 Surely, there are guardians watching over you, 10 Generous and recording, 11 who know what you do. 12 The pious will surely be in heaven, 13 And the Wicked - they will be in the Fire, 14 which they will enter on the Day of Judgment 15 and then shall never come out of it. 16 And what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 17 Again, what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 18 It is the Day when a soul will not possess for another soul [power to do] a thing; and the command, that Day, is [entirely] with Allah. 19
