The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ EXTOL the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's name: [the glory of] the Al-Highest, 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
