The human says: 'What, when I am dead, shall I be raised to life?' 66 But does not man call to mind that We created him before out of nothing? 67 So, by thy Lord, without doubt, We shall gather them together, and (also) the Evil Ones (with them); then shall We bring them forth on their knees round about Hell; 68 Then We shall pluck out from every sect whichever of them was most stubborn in rebellion to the Beneficent. 69 We alone know who deserves most to be burned therein. 70 It is the inevitable decree of your Lord that every one of you will be taken to hell. 71 And We will deliver those who guarded (against evil), and We will leave the unjust therein on their knees. 72 And when Our Clear Verses are recited to them, those who disbelieve (the rich and strong among the pagans of Quraish who live a life of luxury) say to those who believe (the weak, poor companions of Prophet Muhammad SAW who have a hard life): "Which of the two groups (i.e. believers and disbelievers) is best in (point of) position and as regards station (place of council for consultation)." 73 And how many a generation have We destroyed before these, who were goodlier in goods and outward appearance? 74 Say, "Whoever is in error - let the Most Merciful extend for him an extension [in wealth and time] until, when they see that which they were promised - either punishment [in this world] or the Hour [of resurrection] - they will come to know who is worst in position and weaker in soldiers." 75 And Allah increases in guidance those who go aright; and ever-abiding good works are with your Lord best in recompense and best in yielding fruit. 76 So have you seen him who denied Our signs and says, “I shall certainly be given wealth and children?” 77 Has he gained knowledge of the unseen, or made a covenant with the Beneficent Allah? 78 By no means! We shall write down all what he says; and We shall greatly prolong his chastisement, 79 And We shall inherit from him that whereof he spake, and he shall come to us alone. 80 They have taken other deities besides God, so that they may be a source of strength for them. 81 No, indeed! They shall deny their service, and they shall be against them pitted. 82
