And (remember) when your Lord said to Moosa, “Go to the unjust people.” 10 The people of Fir'aun (Pharaoh). Will they not fear Allah and become righteous?" 11 : He said: "O Lord, I fear that they will deny me. 12 and "my breast is straitened and my tongue is not fluent; so send Aaron as well; 13 And they have a crime against me, so I fear that they will kill me. 14 God said, "Indeed not; go both of you with Our signs, We shall be with you, listening [to your call]. 15 Go, then, to Pharaoh and say to him: 'The Lord of the Universe has sent us 16 so send forth with us the Children of Israel." 17 He (Pharaoh) said (to Moses): 'Did We not bring you up when you were a child? And have you not spent years of your life amongst us? 18 And thou didst the deed thou didst, being one of the ungrateful!' 19 He said: I did it then, when I was of those who are astray. 20 so I fled from you, fearing you. But my Lord gave me Judgment and made me one of the Envoys. 21 And that favour wherewith thou didst oblige me was that thou hadst enslaved the Children of Isra'il? 22 The Pharaoh asked: "And what is the Lord of all the worlds?" 23 'He' (Moses) replied: 'is the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, if you believe' 24 Said Firaun to those around him, “Are you not listening with attention?” 25 Said Moosa, “Your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers preceding you.” 26 (Pharaoh) said: Lo! your messenger who hath been sent unto you is indeed a madman! 27 He said: Lord of the East and the West and all that is between them, if ye did but understand. 28 [Pharaoh] said, "If you take a god other than me, I will surely place you among those imprisoned." 29 'What, even if I brought you something clear' said he (Moses). 30 [Pharaoh] answered: "Produce it, then, if thou art a man of truth!" 31 So Moosa put down his staff and it became a visible serpent. 32 And he drew forth his hand, and lo! it was white unto the beholders. 33
