The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By those (angels) ranged in ranks (or rows). 1 and the drivers driving, 2 and by the reciters of the Reminder: 3 surely, your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and everything between them; Lord of the Easts. 5 He decked the nearest heavens with ornaments of stars, 6 With security from every froward devil. 7 They cannot listen to the speech of those on higher elevations and they are targeted from every side. 8 Repelled; and for them is a constant punishment, 9 But if anyone does succeed in snatching a glimpse [of such knowledge], he shall be pursued by a piercing flame. 10 So, ask those who deny the truth if it was harder to create them than all the other things We have created? We created them from sticky clay. 11 Nay, but whereas thou dost marvel, they [only] scoff; 12 When they are reminded, they do not remember. 13 And when they see a sign they incite one another to scoff, 14 And say: "This is only magic. 15 When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected? 16 And our forefathers [as well]?" 17 Proclaim, “Yes, and with disgrace.” 18 It will be but one Shout, then see, they are watching 19 And say: Ah, woe for us! This is the Day of Judgment. 20 [They will be told], "This is the Day of Judgement which you used to deny." 21
