We shall make satan the companion of whoever ignores the remembrance of the Beneficent God. 36 And indeed, the devils avert them from the way [of guidance] while they think that they are [rightly] guided 37 Until when he comes to Us, he says: O would that between me and you there were the distance of the East and the West; so evil is the associate! 38 Because of the harm you did, it would be of no benefit to you today, you are partners in the punishment. 39 Can you (O Muhammad SAW) make the deaf to hear, or can you guide the blind or him who is in manifest error? 40 And whether [or not] We take you away [in death], indeed, We will take retribution upon them. 41 or We shall show you what We have promised them; for surely We have complete power over them. 42 So hold thou fast unto that which has been revealed unto thee; surely thou art upon a straight path. 43 The Quran is a reminder to you and to your people and you will soon be questioned about it. 44 And ask (O Muhammad SAW) those of Our Messengers whom We sent before you: "Did We ever appoint aliha (gods) to be worshipped besides the Most Beneficent (Allah)?" 45
