"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 [having been received with the greeting,] "Enter here in peace, secure!" 46 We shall strip away all rancour that is in their breasts; as brothers they shall be upon couches set face to face; 47 They will not be affected by any weariness there, and they will never be made to leave." 48 ۞ Tell My worshipers that I am the Forgiving, the Most Merciful, 49 And that indeed the punishment of Mine is a painful punishment. 50 Tell them of Abraham's guests. 51 When they entered his presence and said, "Peace!" He said, "We feel afraid of you!" 52 They replied, "Do not be afraid. We have brought you the glad news of (the birth) of a learned son". 53 He said, 'What, do you give me good tidings, though old age has smitten me? Of what do you 54 They said: "The good tiding we give you is of truth. Do not, therefore, be of those who despair." 55 [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "And who despairs of the Mercy of his Lord except those who are astray?" 56 Abraham said: "What then is the business on which ye (have come), O ye messengers (of Allah)?" 57 They said, "We have been sent forth to a guilty people." 58 Except Lut's followers: We will most surely deliver them all, 59 "Other than his wife who, it is decreed, will remain with those who will stay behind." 60
