Do you not see that We have sent the Shaitans against the unbelievers, inciting them by incitement? 83 (Muhammad), exercise patience; We have given them respite only for an appointed time. 84 The Day will surely come when We shall gather the God-fearing like [honoured] guests before the Compassionate God 85 And drive the wicked into Hell like cattle driven to water, 86 People do not own the right to intercede, except those* who have made a covenant with the Most Gracious. (* The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to intercede.) 87 And they say, 'The All-merciful has taken unto Himself a son. 88 Surely, you have brought a monstrous thing! 89 At it the skies are ready to burst, the earth to split asunder, and the mountains to fall down in utter ruin, 90 because they have ascribed a son to the Merciful. 91 And it does not befit the Most Gracious to choose an offspring! 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but he shall come to the Most Compassionate Lord as His servant. 93 Certainly He has a comprehensive knowledge of them and He has numbered them a (comprehensive) numbering. 94 And each one of them will come before Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 The Lord of Mercy will bestow affection upon those who believe and perform righteous deeds. 96 And We make (this Scripture) easy in thy tongue, (O Muhammad) only that thou mayst bear good tidings therewith unto those who ward off (evil), and warn therewith the froward folk. 97 And how many a generation We destroyed before them! Dost thou perceive so much as one of them, or hear of them a whisper? 98
