Say: "O Lord, if I am made to see what has been promised them, 93 then do not include me, my Lord, among these wrong-doing people." 94 We certainly have the power to show you what they have been warned about. 95 Repel evil by what is best; We know best what they describe. 96 and say, "My Lord, I seek refuge with You from the prompting of the devils. 97 "And I seek refuge with You, My Lord! lest they may attend (or come near) me." 98 Until, when death comes to one* of them, he says, “O my Lord, send me back!” (The disbelievers) 99 That I may do some good I did not do (in the world)." Not so. These are only words he utters. Behind them lies the intervening barrier (stretching) to the day of their resurrection. 100 So when the Trumpet is blown – so there will neither be any relationship among them* that day, nor will they ask about one another. (The disbelievers) 101 If the side of ones good deeds weighs heavier on a scale, he will have everlasting happiness, 102 But those whose scales weigh light will have ruined their souls; in Hell will they abide. 103 the fire will scorch their faces, and they will abide therein with their lips distorted in pain. 104 (It will be said): Were not My revelations recited unto you, and then ye used to deny them? 105 They will say, “Our Lord! Our ill-fate overcame us, and we were the astray people.” 106 Our Lord! Take us out of this. Then if we revert (to evil-doing) we shall indeed be wrongdoers." 107 He (Allah) will say: "Remain you in it with ignominy! And speak you not to Me!" 108 You are those that when a party of My servants said: 'Our Lord, we believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of those that are merciful,' 109 But you ridiculed them. So much so that out of (spite) for them you forgot to remember Me and laughed at them. 110 On this day I have given them their reward for their exercising patience and it is they who have triumphed." 111 He will say, “How long did you stay on earth, counting by the number of years? 112 They will say: "We stayed for a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep count of this." 113 He will say, "You only stayed for a little while, if only you knew. 114 What! did you then think that We had created you in vain and that you shall not be returned to Us? 115 [KNOW,] then, [that] God is sublimely exalted, the Ultimate Sovereign, the Ultimate Truth: there is no deity save Him, the Sustainer, in bountiful almightiness enthroned! 116 And whoever invokes with Allah another god-- he has no proof of this-- his reckoning is only with his Lord; surely the unbelievers shall not be successful. 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of the merciful' 118
