Have you [Prophet] considered the man who turned away, 33 Who gives but little, and is niggardly? 34 Has he knowledge of the Unknown that he perceives everything? 35 Hath he not been told of that which is in the writs of Musa. 36 And (of) Ibrahim who fulfilled (the commandments): 37 That no one who carries a burden bears another's load; 38 And that man hath only that for which he maketh effort, 39 and that [the fruit of] his striving shall soon be seen; 40 Then will he be rewarded with a reward complete; 41 And that to your Lord is the goal- 42 And that He it is who maketh laugh, and maketh weep, 43 And He who ordains death and life; 44 That He did create in pairs,- male and female, 45 from an ejected drop of sperm; 46 And that [incumbent] upon Him is the next creation 47 And that it is He Who has given wealth and contentment? 48 And that He (Allah) is the Lord of Sirius (the star which the pagan Arabs used to worship); 49 And that it is He (Allah) Who destroyed the former 'Ad (people), 50 and Thamood, and He did not spare them, 51 and before them the nation of Noah, they exceeded in evil and were insolent. 52 And the overthrown cities did He overthrow, 53 So they were covered with whatever covered them? 54 Then which of the favors of your Lord do you doubt? 55 This (Muhammad SAW) is a warner (Messenger) of the (series of) warners (Messengers) of old. 56 There hath approached the approaching Hour. 57 There is no one to unveil it apart from God. 58 Do you then wonder at this recital (the Quran)? 59 And laugh and not weep? 60 and divert yourselves all the while? 61 So prostrate yourselves before God and worship him. ۩ 62
