The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 who created and shaped, 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
Almighty God's Truth.
