Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

Abundance diverts you, 1 till you reached the grave. 2 But no, indeed, you shall soon know. 3 Again, no indeed, you shall soon know. 4 Nay! if you had known with a certain knowledge, 5 You will surely end up seeing Hell; 6 Then you will see it with the eye of certainty. 7 On that Day, you shall be questioned about the pleasures. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
