Al-Saaffaat 3 of 5
Noah had verily called to Us. And how gracious was He who answered (him). 75 And We delivered him and his people from the great distress, 76 And made his progeny to endure (on this earth); 77 And left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 78 Peace be on Nuh among the worlds. 79 This is how We reward the virtuous. 80 he was among Our believing servants. 81 Afterwards We drowned the others. 82 ۞ And lo! of his persuasion verily was Abraham 83 When he came to his Lord, with a sound heart. (Free from falsehood). 84 and when he said to his father and to his nation: 'What do you worship? 85 Do you want [to bow down before] a lie - [before] deities other than God? 86 “So what do you assume regarding the Lord Of The Creation?” (That He will not punish you?) 87 The people invited him to attend their feast). Then he looked at the stars 88 and said: “I am sick.” 89 so they turned their backs on him and went off. 90 Then he turned towards their gods and said: "Why do you not eat (of these offerings)? 91 What is the matter with you that you do not speak? 92 Then he slipped unto them striking them with the right hand. 93 So the people descended upon him. 94 but he said, "How can you worship things you carve with your own hands, 95 When Allah hath created you and what ye make? 96 They said, 'Build him a building, and cast him into the furnace!' 97 So they tried to execute their evil scheme upon him – We therefore degraded them. (Allah saved him, by commanding the fire to turn cool). 98 He said, "I will go to my Lord: He is sure to guide me. 99 Lord, grant me a righteous son." 100 We gave him the glad news of the birth of a forbearing son. 101 When he was old enough to go about with him, he said: "O my son, I dreamt that I was sacrificing you. Consider, what you think?" He replied: "Father, do as you are commanded. If God pleases you will find me firm." 102 And when they had both submitted, and his son had laid down prostrate upon his forehead, 103 We called out to him: "O Abraham, 104 "Thou hast already fulfilled the vision!" - thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 105 Verily that! that was a trial manifest. 106 And We ransomed him with a momentous sacrifice: 107 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 108 Peace be upon Ibrahim! 109 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 110 He was one of Our believing worshipers. 111 And We gave him the good news of Isaac - a prophet,- one of the Righteous. 112 And We sent blessings upon him and Ishaq; and among their descendants – some who do good deeds, and some who clearly wrong themselves. 113

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
