The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

By oath of those that sprint, breathing heavily. (The horses used in Holy War.) 1 and produce sparks 2 And raiding at dawn 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 The human being is certainly ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And lo! he is a witness unto that; 7 Surely he is passionate in his love for good things. 8 ۞ Does he not know that when that which is in the graves is overthrown, 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 that on that Day their Sustainer [will show that He] has always been fully aware of them? 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
