Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

HAST THOU ever considered [the kind of man] who gives the lie to all moral law? 1 It is he who turns away the orphan 2 And does not urge to feed the needy. 3 Woe, then, to those who pray, 4 But who are oblivious of their moral duties, 5 Who would be seen (at worship) 6 and refuse to help the needy. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
