Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
The tree of al-Zaqqum 43 The food of sinners. 44 like molten lead will it boil in the belly, 45 like boiling water. 46 Seize him, then drag him down into the middle of the hell; 47 then pour over his head the chastisement of boiling water!' 48 "Taste it," (they will be told). "You were indeed the mighty and noble! 49 This is the torment that you persistently doubted". 50 Surely those who guard (against evil) are in a secure place, 51 Within gardens and springs, 52 robed in silk and brocade, set face to face. 53 As such, We shall wed them to wide eyed houris (the virgins of Paradise). 54 They will call therein for every kind of fruit in peace and security; 55 and neither shall they taste death there after having passed through their erstwhile death. Thus will He have preserved them from all suffering through the blazing fire 56 as a bounty from your Lord. That will be the mighty triumph. 57 Verily, We have made this (Qur'an) easy, in thy tongue, in order that they may give heed. 58 So you wait. They are also waiting. 59

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
