Seest thou not that We have set the Evil Ones on against the unbelievers, to incite them with fury? 83 Hence, be not in haste [to call down God's punishment] upon them: for We but number the number of their days. 84 On the Day of Judgment, when the pious people will be brought into the presence of the Beneficent God as the guests of honor 85 and drive those who were lost in sin unto hell as a thirsty herd is driven to a well 86 no one will be able to intercede for the others except those whom the Beneficent God has given authority. 87 They say: "God has begotten a son." 88 This is certainly a monstrous lie! 89 The heavens almost rupture therefrom and the earth splits open and the mountains collapse in devastation 90 that they have attributed to the All-merciful a son; 91 and it behoves not the All-merciful to take a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and earth but that he comes to the Most Merciful as a servant. 93 He has counted and enumerated them one by one. 94 And each one of them will come before Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 VERILY, those who attain to faith and do righteous deeds will the Most Gracious endow with love: 96 Now We have made it easy by thy tongue that thou mayest bear good tidings thereby to the godfearing, and warn a people stubborn. 97 And many a generation We did destroy before them; do you see any one of them or hear their faintest sound? 98
