Blessed is He who could give you palaces and gardens wherein streams would flow, far better than what they want you to have. 10 But they have denied the Hour, and We have prepared for those who deny the Hour a Blaze. 11 When it will see them from afar, they will hear its raging and roaring. 12 And when they are thrown into a narrow place in it, bound in chains, they will pray for death in it. 13 It will be said “Do not pray this day for one death – and pray for many deaths.” 14 Say, "Is that better or the Garden of Eternity which is promised to the righteous? It will be for them a reward and destination. 15 Theirs therein shall be all that they wish for, as abiders; a promise from thy Lord to be asked for. 16 The day He will gather them together along with those they worshipped other than God, He will ask them: "Did you lure these creatures of Mine away, or did they themselves go astray?" 17 They will say; hallowed be Thou! it behoved us not that we should take beside Thee any patron, but Thou allowedest them and their fathers enjoyment until they forgat the admonition, and they were a people doomed. 18 Thus will your gods deny alI that you are professing today. Then you shall neither be able to repel your punishment nor shall get any help from anywhere; and whoso is guilty. of iniquity'' among you, We shall make him taste a severe torment. 19 We never sent before you apostles who did not eat food and walk the market places. We make some of you the means of trying the others. So will you persevere? Your Lord is always watching. 20
