Have you then seen him who turns his back? 33 And gives a little and (then) withholds. 34 Has he knowledge of the unseen, so that he sees? 35 Hath he not been told of that which is in the writs of Musa. 36 And Abraham who paid his debt: 37 That no one who carries a burden bears another's load; 38 And that man hath only that for which he maketh effort, 39 and that (the result of) his striving shall soon be seen, 40 and that he shall then be fully recompensed, 41 and that with thy Sustainer is the beginning and the end [of all that exists]; 42 And that it is He (Allah) Who makes (whom He wills) laugh, and makes (whom He wills) weep; 43 and that He it is Who causes death and grants life, 44 and that He Himself created the two kinds, male and female, 45 from an ejected drop of sperm; 46 and that He will bring about the Second Creation; 47 That it is He who makes you rich and contented; 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius, 49 And that it is He Who earlier destroyed the tribe of Aad? 50 And the Thamud nor gave them a lease of perpetual life. 51 And also the people of Nuh aforetime. Verily they were even greater wrong-doers and more contumacious. 52 And the subverted cities He overthrew. 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 Which then of thy Lord's benefits wilt thou doubt? 55 This is a Warner, of the (series of) Warners of old! 56 The Approaching Day has approached. 57 There is no one to unveil it apart from God. 58 Then at this statement do you wonder? 59 And will you laugh and not weep? 60 while you make merry? 61 Rather prostrate yourselves before Allah and serve Him. ۩ 62
