Animals (Al-An 'aam)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Praise be Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth, and made the darkness and the light. Yet those who reject Faith hold (others) as equal, with their Guardian-Lord. 1 He it is Who created you from clay, then He decreed a term; and there is a term named with Him; still you doubt. 2 although He is God in the heavens and on earth, knowing all that you keep secret as well as all that you do openly, and knowing what you deserve. 3 Yet every time a sign of their Lord comes to them, they turn away from it, 4 Indeed, they rejected the truth (the Quran and Muhammad SAW) when it came to them, but there will come to them the news of that (the torment) which they used to mock at. 5 See they not how many a generation We destroyed before them, whom We had established in the earth more firmly than We have established you, and We shed on them abundant showers from the sky, and made the rivers flow beneath them. Yet we destroyed them for their sins, and created after them another generation. 6 But even if We had sent down to you a Book written on parchment, and they had touched it with their own hands -- those who deny the truth would still have said, "This is mere magic." 7 They ask: 'Why has no angel been sent down to him' If We had sent down an angel, their fate would have been determined and they would never have been respited. 8 And if We had made him an angel, We would have made him [appear as] a man, and We would have covered them with that in which they cover themselves. 9 Mocked were (many) messengers before thee; but their scoffers were hemmed in by the thing that they mocked. 10
