And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
