Say: "I am only a warner, and there is no other god but God, the one, the omnipotent, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between the twain, the Mighty, the Forgiver. 66 Say thou: it is a tiding mighty. 67 from which you are turning away. 68 I had no knowledge of the higher Assembly when they discussed it among themselves. 69 I have only received revelation to give you plain warning. 70 (Remember) When your Lord said to the angels, “I will create a human from clay.” – 71 and when I have formed him fully and breathed into him of My spirit, fall you down before him in prostration!" 72 The angels fell down prostrate, every one, 73 except iblis (satan, the father of the jinn), he became too proud, for he was one of the unbelievers. 74 Said (God): "O Iblis, what hindered you from adoring what I created by My own authority? Are you too proud, or too high and mighty?" 75 Satan replied, "I am better than him. You created me from fire, but You created him from clay." 76 (Allah) said: "Then get thee out from here: for thou art rejected, accursed. 77 Upon you will be My damnation till the Day of Doom." 78 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "My Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are resurrected." 79 Said He, 'Thou art among the ones that are respited 80 “Until the time of the known day.” 81 (Iblis) said: “By Your glory, I shall mislead them all 82 "Except Your chosen slaves amongst them (faithful, obedient, true believers of Islamic Monotheism)." 83 He said: The Truth is, and the Truth I speak, 84 “That I will fill hell with you and with those among them who follow you, all together.” 85 Say (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) “I do not ask any fee from you for the Qur’an, and I am not a fabricator.” 86 It is but a reminder to the worlds. 87 You will certainly know its truthfulness after a certain time. 88
