Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Qaf; by oath of the Glorious Qur’an. 1 But they wonder that there has come to them a Warner from among themselves. So the Unbelievers say: "This is a wonderful thing! 2 "What! When we die and become dust, (shall we live again?) That is a (sort of) return far (from our understanding)." 3 (Thus do they imagine, although) We know well what the earth takes away from them. Even so is the coming forth. 11 The people of Noah, dwellers of the Ra's, Thamud, 12 and so did 'Ad, and Pharaoh and Lot's brethren, 13 and the people of Aykah, and the people of Tubba'. They all gave the lie to the Messengers. Thereafter My threat of chastisement against them was fulfilled. 14 What, were We wearied by the first creation? No indeed; but they are in uncertainty as to the new creation. 15
