The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the Clatterer? 2 And what have you understood, what the event that terrifies the hearts is! 3 The day on which men shall be as scattered moths, 4 and the mountains shall be like fluffs of carded wool in varying colours. 5 Then as for him whose balances are heavy, 6 He will live a pleasant life (in Paradise). 7 And as for him whose measure of good deeds is light, 8 will have hawiyah as their dwelling. 9 And what will make you know what it is? 10 A Blazing Fire! 11
