۞ Also, We revealed to Moses, saying: 'Go with My worshipers by night, for you will be followed' 52 So Firon sent heralds into the cities; 53 "These," they said, "are only a small band, 54 And indeed, they are enraging us, 55 But we are a numerous host, ever on guard." 56 As such We expelled them from their gardens and their fountains, 57 treasures, and graceful dwellings. 58 Thus (were those things taken from them) and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and, when the two hosts sighted each other, the companions of Moses said, 'We are overtaken!' 61 'No, indeed' he replied, 'my Lord is with me and He will guide me' 62 Then We inspired Musa (Moses) (saying): "Strike the sea with your stick." And it parted, and each separate part (of that sea water) became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 And We brought near thither the others. 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, all together. 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Verily herein is a sign; but most of them are not believers. 67 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 68
