The folk of Lot denied the messengers (of Allah), 160 When their brother Lot said to them: 'Will you not be cautious? 161 "I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust. 162 So fear Allah and obey me. 163 I seek of you no reward. My reward is with none but the Lord of the Universe. 164 What, do you come to the males of the world, 165 And leave what your Lord has created for you as mates? But you are a people transgressing." 166 They said: "O Lot! If you do not desist, you will be one of those expelled (from our towns)." 167 He said: I am in truth of those who hate your conduct. 168 (And prayed:) "O Lord, save me and my family from what they do." 169 Then We delivered him and all his family 170 Except one old woman who remained behind. 171 then We totally destroyed the rest, 172 And We rained down upon them a rain, and evil was the rain on those warned. 173 In this there is an evidence of the Truth, but many of them did not have any faith. 174 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 175
