And We have built the heaven with hands (the Divine Power), and it is We Who give the expanse. 47 and We cradled the earth. And We are the Best of Cradlers. 48 And of everything We have created pairs; perhaps you will take heed. 49 So flee to Allah. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner. 50 And do not ascribe divinity to aught side by side with God: verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him!" 51 Even thus no apostle came to those before them but they said: "He is a sorcerer or a mad man." 52 What, have they bequeathed it one to another? Nay, but they are an insolent people. 53 So turn away from them: not thine is the blame. 54 And advise, for advice benefits the Muslims. 55 And I created the jinns and men, only for them to worship Me. 56 [But withal,] no sustenance do I ever demand of them, nor do I demand that they feed Me: 57 Surely God is the All-provider, the Possessor of Strength, the Ever-Sure. 58 And lo! for those who (now) do wrong there is an evil day like unto the evil day (which came for) their likes (of old); so let them not ask Me to hasten on (that day). 59 So woe to the unbelievers, for that day of theirs that they are promised. 60
