Are you more difficult to create or the heavens? He built it, 27 He raised high its height, then put it into a right good state. 28 Gave darkness to its night, and brightness to its day; 29 After this, He spread out the earth, 30 and brought out of it its water and its pasture, 31 And the mountains hath He firmly fixed;- 32 As provision for you and your grazing livestock. 33 But when the great predominating calamity comes; 34 The Day when man shall remember what he strove for, 35 And the Scorch will be made apparent to any one who beholdeth. 36 anyone who has acted arrogantly 37 And preferred the life of the world, 38 Then indeed hell only is his destination. 39 And as for him who dreaded standing before his Lord, and restrained his soul from lust, 40 Paradise will be the dwelling. 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 But how are you to know? 43 To your Lord belongs (the knowledge of) the term thereof? 44 You are but a warner for those who fear it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, [it will seem to them] as if they had tarried [in this world] no longer than one evening or [one night, ending with] its morn! 46
