The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
