The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
