The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the Night as it conceals (the light); 1 and the day as it rises bright! 2 And [by] He who created the male and female, 3 surely your striving is to diverse ends. 4 We shall facilitate the path to bliss 5 and believes in the finest, 6 We will make smooth for him the path of ease (goodness). 7 But as for one who is miserly and unheeding, 8 and rejects what is right, 9 So We will very soon provide him hardship. 10 And his substance will avail him not when he perisheth. 11 Verify on us is the guidance 12 and to Us belong the Last and the First. 13 Therefore I warn you of the fire that flames: 14 in which no one will suffer forever except the wicked ones 15 who denied [the truth], and turned away. 16 and from which the most godfearing shall be removed, 17 He who spends his wealth for increase in self-purification, 18 And have in their minds no favour from anyone for which a reward is expected in return, 19 But only the desire to seek for the Countenance of their Lord Most High; 20 He will surely be well-pleased (with him). 21
Almighty Allah's Truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
