Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the midday brightness 1 and by the calm of night, 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee nor doth He hate thee, 3 and the Last shall be better for thee than the First. 4 And soon will your Lord give you so that you shall be well pleased. 5 Has He not found thee an orphan, and given thee shelter? 6 Did He not find thee wandering and direct (thee)? 7 Did He not find thee needy, and suffice thee? 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with oppression, 9 and as for the beggar, scold him not; 10 And as for the favor of your Lord, do announce (it). 11

Almighty God's Truth.
