Al-A 'araaf 8 of 24

We sent Noah to his people, and he said: "O people worship God; you have no other god but He; for I fear the retribution of the great Day may fall on you." 59 The chiefs of his people said: verily we see thee in error manifest. 60 He said: 'O my people! There is no error in me, but I am a Messenger from the Lord of the universe. 61 I convey to you the messages of my Lord, give you sincere advice, and I know from Allah that which you do not know. 62 Marvel ye that there should come unto you a Reminder from your Lord by means of a man among you, that he may warn you, and that ye may keep from evil, and that haply ye may find mercy. 63 But they called him a liar, and We saved him and those with him in the Ark, and drowned the others who rejected Our signs, for they were a people purblind. 64
