But the godfearing shall be amidst gardens and fountains: 45 “Enter them with peace, in safety.” 46 And [by then] We shall have removed whatever unworthy thoughts or feelings may have been [lingering] in their breasts, [and they shall rest] as brethren, facing one another [in love] upon thrones of happiness. 47 They will not be affected by any weariness there, and they will never be made to leave." 48 ۞ Declare thou unto My bondmen: verily I! I am the Forgiver, the Merciful. 49 And that My doom is the dolorous doom. 50 And inform them of the guests of Ibrahim: 51 (How) when they came in unto him, and said: Peace. He said: Lo! we are afraid of you. 52 They said: "Do not feel afraid, for we give you the good news of a wise boy." 53 He said: bear ye me glad tidings when old age hath touched me? of what then ye bear me glad tidings? 54 They (the angels) said: "We give you glad tidings in truth. So be not of the despairing ones." 55 He said, “Who is it that despairs from the mercy of his Lord, except those who are astray?” 56 He added: "And what [else] may you have in view, O you [heavenly] messengers?" 57 They said: verily we have been sent unto a people guilty 58 Except for Lot's household, all of whom we shall rescue, 59 But not his wife; we have decreed that she will be of those staying behind. 60
