۞ AND [there came a time when] We inspired Moses thus: "Go forth with My servants by night: for, behold, you will be pursued!" 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities musterers: 53 (Saying): "Verily! These indeed are but a small band. 54 "And verily, they have done what has enraged us; 55 and we are a host on our guard.' 56 Thus did We drive them out of their gardens and springs 57 and their treasures and excellent dwellings. 58 Thus it was; and We made the children of Israel possess them. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 When the two forces drew within seeing distance of each other, the people of Moses said: "We shall certainly be overtaken." 61 [Moses] said, "No! Indeed, with me is my Lord; He will guide me." 62 We sent a revelation to Moses saying, "Strike the sea with your staff." The sea was rent asunder and each side stood high up like a huge mountain. 63 And We advanced thereto the pursuers. 64 And We saved Musa (Moses) and all those with him. 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Verily! In this is indeed a sign (or a proof), yet most of them are not believers. 67 And yet, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 68
