Observedest thou him who turned away? 33 and gives a little, grudgingly? 34 What! Has he knowledge of the Unseen so that he can see? 35 Or is he not informed with what is in the Pages (Scripture) of Musa (Moses), 36 and of Abraham, who to his trust was true: 37 Namely, that no bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another; 38 and that a man shall have to his account only as he has laboured, 39 and that (the result of) his striving shall soon be seen, 40 And afterward he will be repaid for it with fullest payment; 41 And that to your Lord is your returning; 42 It is He who causes laughter and weeping. 43 and that it is He who causes to die, and causes to live 44 It is He who has created spouses, male and female, 45 from an ejected drop of sperm; 46 and that upon Him is the second creation 47 And that He it is Who enricheth and contenteth; 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius, 49 And that He destroyed the former (tribe of) A'ad, 50 and Thamood, and He did not spare them, 51 And before them, the people of Nooh? Indeed they were more unjust and more rebellious than these! 52 And the overthrown cities did He overthrow, 53 and covered them with torment. 54 So, which of your Lord's bounties will you doubt?” 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 There hath approached the approaching Hour. 57 [although] none but God can unveil it.... 58 Do you, perchance, find this tiding strange? 59 And laugh and not weep? 60 While you are indulging in varieties. 61 So prostrate yourselves before Allah and worship. ۩ 62
