Surely warners came to the people of Pharaoh. 41 They denied all Our signs, We therefore seized them – the seizure of the Most Honourable, the All Powerful. 42 Are the unbelievers among you any better than they? Or is there immunity for you in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say, 'We are a congregation that shall be succoured?' 44 [Their] assembly will be defeated, and they will turn their backs [in retreat]. 45 Nay, the Hour (of Judgment) is the time promised them (for their full recompense): And that Hour will be most grievous and most bitter. 46 for, behold, those who are lost in sin [will at that time come to know that it is they who] were sunk in error and folly! 47 On the Day when they shall be dragged into the fire on their faces, [they will be told:] "Taste now the touch of hell-fire!" 48 We have indeed created all things by measure; 49 And Our commandment is but one (commandment), as the twinkling of an eye. 50 We have destroyed the likes of you; is there any that will remember? 51 And all what they did is in the Books. 52 Every matter, small and great, is on record. 53 Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in gardens and rivers, 54 in a sure abode, in the presence of a King Omnipotent. 55
