Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the heavens are rent asunder, 1 When the planets are dispersed, 2 And when the seas are burst forth (got dried up); 3 And when the graves are laid open, 4 Every soul shall know what it has sent before and held back. 5 O man! What has made you careless concerning your Lord, the Most Generous? 6 who created you, fashioned you and proportioned you, 7 Into whatsoever form He will, He casteth thee. 8 By no means! Aye, ye belie the Requital. 9 Yet over you there are watchers, 10 noble, recording, 11 They know (and understand) all that ye do. 12 The virtuous ones will live in bliss 13 And verily, the Fujjar (the wicked, disbelievers, sinners and evil-doers) will be in the blazing Fire (Hell), 14 They shall enter it on the day of judgment. 15 and which they shall not [be able to] evade. 16 And what do you know – of what sort is the Day of Justice! 17 Again, what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 18 It is the Day when no one shall have the power to do anything for another, and all command shall be Allah's. 19
