Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By (the angels) sent forth with the commands of God, 1 Then by oath of those that push with a strong gust. 2 by the scatterers scattering 3 and the severally severing 4 And those [angels] who deliver a message 5 Whether of Justification or of Warning;- 6 surely, that which you have been promised is about to fall! 7 When the stars are extinguished, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder 9 when the mountains shall be scattered 10 And when the messengers are (all) appointed a time (to collect);- 11 For what day is that time fixed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 What do you know what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 15 Did We not destroy many a nation of the earlier times? 16 and let the latter follow them? 17 As such shall We deal with the sinners. 18 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 19 Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable?- 20 And We placed it in a firm lodging 21 For a known extent. 22 Then We facilitated (your birth). How well do We calculate! 23 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle? 25 The living and the dead, 26 And placed therein high mountains and given you to drink sweet water therein? 27 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 28 GO ON towards that [resurrection] which you were wont to call a lie! 29 Depart unto the shadow falling threefold, 30 unshading against the blazing flame 31 that shoots sparks like dry faggots, 32 sparks like to golden herds. 33 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 34 This is the day they shall not speak 35 neither be given leave, and excuse themselves. 36 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 37 This is the Day of Judgement. We have assembled you all together with past generations. 38 If you have any plans, use them. 39 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 40
