Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

When earth is shaken with a mighty shaking 1 and [when] the earth yields up her burdens, 2 And man enquires: "What has come over it?" 3 On that Day she will tell out the tidings thereof. 4 Because thy Lord inspireth her. 5 That Day mankind will proceed in scattered groups that they may be shown their deeds. 6 And so, he who shall have done an atom's weight of good, shall behold it; 7 And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 8

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
