And when Moses said unto his servant: I will not give up until I reach the point where the two rivers meet, though I march on for ages. 60 So when they had reached the junction of the two (rivers) they forgot their fish, and it took its way into the sea, going away. 61 When they had passed on (some distance), Moses said to his attendant: "Bring us our early meal; truly we have suffered much fatigue at this (stage of) our journey." 62 His companion replied, "Do you remember the rock on which we took rest? Satan made me forget to mention to you the story of the fish and how it miraculously made its way into the sea. 63 Moses said: "That is what we were looking for." So the two turned back, retracing their footsteps, 64 and there they found one of Our servants upon whom We had bestowed Our mercy, and to whom We had imparted a special knowledge from Ourselves. 65 Moses said to him: "May I attend upon you that you may instruct me in the knowledge you have been taught of the right way?" 66 (The other) said: "Verily thou wilt not be able to have patience with me!" 67 "And how can you have patience about a thing which you know not?" 68 He said, 'Yet thou shalt find me, if God will, patient; and I shall not rebel against thee in anything.' 69 The other said: "If then thou wouldst follow me, ask me no questions about anything until I myself speak to thee concerning it." 70
